MedStream's Medical Bridging Service™ (MBS) was developed
to take care of patients with serious or chronic conditions,
in order to significantly reduce hospitalizations and improve
quality of life. This service is designed to take care of
a patient between regularly scheduled visits with his or her
own physician.
MedStream's Medical Bridging Service uses home telemedicine
technology to collect and evaluate patient data on a daily
basis. While at home, a patient also has regularly scheduled
and “as needed” live, interactive video appointments
with a healthcare provider at the MedStream MBS Call Center.
The patient’s personal physician is updated regularly
and whenever significant medical developments warrant.
MedStream's Medical Bridging Service delivers the close monitoring,
patient assessment, and easy access to healthcare that are
the hallmarks of timely, appropriate, and successful medical
intervention. Rapid deterioration of health, emergency room
visits and hospitalizations are reduced. Quality of life and
conservation of healthcare resources are enhanced.
